Bus Booking Terms and Conditions
Marymede Catholic College
By booking a college bus, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions:
1. Key Collection and Return
- Bus keys must be collected from the designated location on the day of booking and signed out
- Keys must be returned to the same location immediately upon completion of use on the same day
2. Vehicle Condition
- The bus must be returned in the same condition as it was provided
- Any damage, cleanliness issues, or missing items must be reported immediately
- The booking party is responsible for:
- Removing all rubbish and personal belongings
- Reporting any damage or mechanical issues that occur during use
- Ensuring the bus is locked and secured upon return
3. Cancellation Policy
- All cancellations must be made at least 72 hours (3 days) prior to the scheduled booking time
4. Driver Requirements
The designated driver must:
- Hold a current and valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle class
- Comply with all Australian road laws and regulations
- Be an approved driver under the College’s insurance policy
- Not operate the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Have successfully completed any required College driver training or authorisation process
- All traffic infringements and fines are the responsibility of the driver.
5. Insurance and Liability
- Drivers must operate the vehicle in accordance with College insurance policy requirements
- Any accidents, incidents, or damage must be reported immediately to College administration
- Unauthorised drivers are strictly prohibited from operating the vehicle
6. General Conditions
- Buses are for official College use only
- The booking party is responsible for ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions
- The College reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings at its discretion
- Repeated violations of these terms may result in loss of bus booking privileges
- Please ensure upon return of bus that the fuel tank is at least half full
